Who are we?
We Belong to Jesus Christ!
We are individually members of the one body of Christ, and collectively a voluntary congregation of believers.
We are individually members of the one body of Christ, and collectively a voluntary congregation of believers.
Our Purpose:
To love from a pure heart, a good conscience and sincere faith.
Our Association Together:
does not restrict our freedom in Christ to have fellowship with other spiritual brothers and sisters in the Lord. The intent is, rather, to enhance fellowship throughout the Body of Christ without walls or boundaries. The only consideration for inclusion in the full measure of fellowship in this spiritual community is one’s membership in the body of Christ. Nothing else is required. All members of the body of Christ in the community are encouraged to exercise their God-given spiritual gifts for the building up of the entire body of Christ – whether within this specific community or any other.
Those who are immersed into Jesus Christ – signified by immersion in water and referred to as baptism – because they trust [believe] Him for the forgiveness of our previous high treason against God – referred to as sin – are members of the body of Christ and welcome into our communal life of mutual ministry.
We strive to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace with all our brethren. Together we serve, share, worship, work and play. We love the Lord God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength – and our neighbours as ourselves.
We enthusiastically submit to Jesus Christ as our one and only Lord and Saviour. We subscribe to no set doctrinal statement or creed other than to trust and honour God in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe this will keep us actively closer to God and less inclined to trust in tradition for our identity. We intend to follow no person, group of persons or any tradition that would set aside, replace or supersede Jesus Christ as our one and only Lord.
We gather at various times and places for Fellowship, edification, encouragement, comfort, spiritual support and sharing of our common life in Christ Jesus. We gather, not as a matter of duty or coercion but in the Spirit of the love of God that we have for one another. Our agreement of regular association with one another is one of free choice. It may, therefore, be rescinded without negative repercussions at any time. We gladly rejoice in the Lord’s leading of each person to be affiliated with whomever He would have them serve in spiritual community.

Our Organization
is organic [body of Christ], not institutional [legal entity of separation]. While there is a degree of organization agreed upon, it changes as needs and understandings change. There is no intent that this fellowship and attendant institution. We are simply disciples exercising our need, right, and – yes – our obligation to associate closely with other members of the body of Christ in our proximity. Such association is to the glory of God and not to the glory of man-made institution or even to “our special group”. We are members of Christ only, and, therefore, have no need of becoming “members” of this association as an entity distinct from the body of Christ.
The extent of the organization of our community life is that:
1. We covenant together to meet with one another regularly at agreed upon times as well as spontaneous connections.
2. More spiritually mature brothers, referred to as elders, guide our spiritual growth and exercise appropriate discipline as is edifying and helpful.
3. others exercise special, agreed upon, services that benefit the community of believers. These voluntary servants are often referred to as deacons or deaconesses.
4. We all aspire to become leaders in love and service.
5. We hope to be corrected in the event that we ever try to lord it over the holy ones of God.
6. True spiritual leadership is from the bottom up, rather than from the top down. The Son of man, Himself, came to serve and give His life for many. We dare not think in any other way.
7. We encourage one another toward love and good works to the glory of God.
To believe in God is to trust Him. To trust Him is to obey Him. Obedience to God is not burdensome. God the Father knows what is best and fulfilling for us. We experience his divine nature when we think God’s thoughts after Him and carry out His will with gladness and in peace. We claim no merit because of our good works. They are the result of our salvation, not the cause of it.
We honor Jesus Christ as the embodiment of God’s living Word and the Bible as God’s inspired written word that is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
We are all ministering servants by the grace of God and the gifts of his Divine Nature [Holy Spirit]. All serve [minister], and all receive service [ministry]. Our lives of service and ministry are our worship to God.
The Holy Spirit has convicted the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. We are determined to proclaim Jesus Christ and Him crucified as the solution to that universal dilemma.
Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life and no one comes to God the Father but by Him. [John 14:6] We proclaim that good news based upon the fact that eternal life is to know the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He has sent. [John 17:3] he is our hope of glory. [Colossians 1:27] Our life is hidden with Christ in God. He is, indeed, our very life. [Colossians 3:3-4] Christ is all, and in all. [Colossians 3:11]
God has revealed to us who we are in Jesus Christ – and why 1 Peter 2:9
“You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people, that you may declare the wonderful deeds of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”

is to speak the truth in love and grow up in all things into Him who is the head – Jesus Christ.
